Who we are
Sane Seity Co., Ltd. is an independent clothing label based in Taiwan. These policies explain how we work — how we sell, what we do with your information, how things are shipped, and how the site uses cookies. Throughout, "we" and "us" mean Sane Seity.

Terms & Conditions
These terms cover your use of saneseity.com and anything you buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them, along with the policies below.
Ordering
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's consent. When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy; we accept it once we send your confirmation. Sometimes we can't — an item sells out, a price is wrong, a payment won't clear — and if that happens we'll cancel and refund you in full.
The clothes
Most pieces are made in small batches, finished by hand. Small differences between one piece and another, or between a photograph and the garment that arrives, are part of how they're made, not faults. We photograph colour and texture as honestly as we can, though screens vary.
Prices and payment
Prices are listed on each product page and can change, but never after we've confirmed your order. They don't include shipping or any import duties — see Shipping & Returns. We take major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, handled securely by Airwallex and PayPal. We never see or store your full card details.
What belongs to us
The Sane Seity name, designs, images, and writing on this site are ours, or our licensors'. Please don't copy or use them commercially without our written permission. Otherwise, use the site honestly and leave its workings alone.
Where we stand
We describe and make our clothes with care. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses no one could reasonably have foreseen. Nothing here limits our responsibility where the law won't let it — for fraud, or for harm caused by our own negligence — and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of Taiwan, and any dispute belongs to the Taiwanese courts. If you're a consumer somewhere else, your local law may give you rights this doesn't touch.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version live when you order is the one that holds.
Privacy Policy
This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email, address, phone number, order details, and anything you write to us.
- Payment details: handled directly by Airwallex and PayPal. We see that a payment cleared, and a little more — the last digits of a card — but never the full number.
- What's gathered as you browse: device, browser, rough location by IP, and how you move through the site, through cookies (see Cookies).
Why we use it
To take and send your orders, handle payment, answer you, keep the store running and safe, understand how it's used, and — only if you've asked for it — send you the occasional email. And to meet our legal obligations.
Who else sees it
Only those who help us run the store: Shopify, Airwallex and PayPal, our couriers (Chunghwa Post, DHL), our email tools (Shopify Email, Klaviyo), Google Analytics, and Meta. We don't sell your information to anyone.
Leaving Taiwan
We're in Taiwan; some of these services hold data elsewhere. Where they do, we take reasonable care to keep it protected.
Your choices
Marketing email only ever comes if you've opted in, and you can stop it anytime from any email, or by writing to us. Order updates aren't marketing, and will still arrive. Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold, or ask us to stop using it — within the limits of records we're required to keep. Just email us to ask. People in the EU, UK, and elsewhere may have further rights.
Keeping and protecting it
We hold your information only as long as we need it — to fulfil your order, keep proper accounts, and settle any returns — then delete or anonymise it. We protect it as well as we reasonably can, though nothing sent over the internet is ever perfectly secure. The store isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their details.
We may update this policy; the current version always lives here.
Shipping & Returns
We ship worldwide from Taiwan.
Sending your order
Orders are packed and sent within one to three working days. Once yours is on its way, we'll email you tracking. Shipping is worked out at checkout, by weight and destination, so you see the cost before you pay. [Optional: orders over [amount] ship free.]
Who carries it
Most orders travel with Chunghwa Post; express orders, and everything bound for the United States, go by DHL or another express courier. Everything is tracked.
Roughly how long
Once sent — customs can add time:
- Taiwan: 1–3 working days
- Japan and East/Southeast Asia: 3–7 working days
- United States: 3–7 working days, by express courier
- UK and Europe: 6–12 working days
- Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere: 7–15 working days
These are estimates, not promises.
Duties and taxes
Orders crossing a border may meet import duties or taxes on arrival. These are set by your country, aren't part of what you pay us, and are yours to settle — if you're unsure, it's worth checking your local rules first. For the United States in particular: under current rules, every order is liable for duties whatever its value, collected by the courier before it reaches you.
If something goes astray
If your order seems lost or stuck, write to us and we'll help find it.
Returns and exchanges
You have 14 days from delivery to return or exchange a piece. It needs to come back unworn, unwashed, and clean, with its tags and packaging — we can't take anything that's been worn or marked. Write to us first with your order number, say whether you'd like a refund or an exchange, and we'll tell you how. Please wait to hear from us before sending anything back.
Return postage is yours to cover, unless the piece is faulty or we sent the wrong thing — then it's on us. Use a tracked service; we can't answer for returns lost on the way. Once your return reaches us and we've checked it, we'll refund your original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days, though your bank may take a little longer to show it. Original shipping isn't refundable unless the piece was faulty.
We're happy to exchange for another size or piece while stock lasts; if it's gone, we'll refund you instead. Made-to-order pieces, gift cards, and anything marked final sale can't be returned.
Your rights
If you're in Taiwan, the Consumer Protection Act gives you seven days from delivery to cancel an online order, no reason needed — separate from, and on top of, everything above. Consumers elsewhere may have similar rights. Nothing here takes them away.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a site leaves on your device. They keep things working, remember what you've chosen, and show us how the store is used.
We use three kinds. The necessary ones run the cart, checkout, and payment, and can't be turned off. Analytics (Google Analytics) shows us how people use the store. Marketing (the Meta pixel) helps us measure and shape our advertising.
When you first arrive, a banner lets you accept or decline everything but the necessary ones. You can change your mind anytime through the Cookie Settings link in the footer, or in your browser — though parts of the site may work less smoothly if you block them. Some cookies belong to Google, Meta, and Shopify, who handle that data under their own policies.
We may update this policy; the current version always lives here.
